Adjust the steering wheel only when the vehicle is stationary, and make sure the steering wheel is securely locked before driving.

If you drive while the steering wheel is not locked, it may change position unexpectedly.

You could then lose control of the vehicle. Before driving, make sure the steering wheel is securely locked by trying to move it up and down.
