Important safety notes

WARNING

Do not place any objects on the driver's footwell. If you use a driver's floor mat or carpet, make sure that it does not obstruct the pedal travel and that it is securely fastened.

Do not stack multiple floor mats.

Otherwise, objects or floor mats may become trapped under the pedals during hard braking or sudden maneuvers. You may then be unable to brake, disengage the clutch or accelerate as intended. This could cause an accident resulting in injury to yourself or others.

WARNING

On slippery roads, do not downshift to brake the vehicle. Otherwise, the driven wheels may lose traction and the vehicle may skid. You could then lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident.

Warm up the engine quickly and use its full power only once it has reached its operating temperature.

Select the corresponding drive position on the automatic transmission only when the vehicle is stationary.

When starting off on a slippery road, avoid spinning the driven wheels. Otherwise, you risk damaging the drivetrain.
