MANUFACTURER PLATE (A)

The manufacturer plate is a sticker located on the B-pillar, visible when opening the front right door.

It shows on each line:

  1. The manufacturer name
  2. The EC type-approval number
  3. The vehicle identification number
  4. The maximum permissible laden weight
  5. The maximum permissible gross train weight
  6. The maximum permissible front axle weight
  7. The maximum permissible rear axle weight
  8. The paint code.

VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (B)

The vehicle identification number (VIN), 17 characters (EEC standard), is stamped on the front bulkhead. It is also shown on the manufacturer plate.

ENGINE REFERENCE (C)

The engine number is located on the joint face between the cylinder block and the oil sump.
