ASSYST PLUS service interval indicator
Maintenance messages
The ASSYST PLUS maintenance interval indicator informs you when the next maintenance service is due.
The multifunction display shows a maintenance message for a few seconds, for example: Next service A in .. days / Service A due / Service A overdue: .. days. The letter indicates the maintenance service to be performed. A denotes a small service and B a large service. This letter may be followed by a number or a second letter indicating the additional work required.
Using this code, a qualified workshop, for example a Mercedes-Benz service center, can tell you the probable cost of the work to be carried out.
You will find further information on the service and the service intervals in the separate service booklet.
The ASSYST PLUS service interval indicator only counts the periods during which the battery is connected.
To observe the service intervals:
- Display the service due on the multifunction display and note it down before disconnecting the battery.
- After reconnecting the battery, subtract the days without battery from the service due displayed.
