Interior monitoring

~1min read

If interior monitoring is activated, a visual alarm and an audible alarm are triggered when movement is detected in the interior. This is the case, for example, when someone enters the interior.

Activation:

  • Make sure that
  • the side windows are closed
  • the panoramic sliding roof is closed

This will prevent the alarm from being triggered unintentionally.

  • Lock the vehicle with the key.

Interior monitoring is activated approximately 30 seconds later.

Deactivation:

  • Unlock the vehicle with the key.

Interior monitoring is deactivated automatically.

Protection volumétrique

Deactivation:

  • Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  • Press button 1.

    Indicator lamp 2 flashes briefly.

  • Lock the vehicle with the key.

Interior monitoring is deactivated.

Interior monitoring remains deactivated until

  • the vehicle is unlocked again.
  • a door has been opened and then closed
  • the vehicle has been locked again

To prevent the alarm from being triggered unintentionally, deactivate interior monitoring before locking the vehicle when

  • people or animals must remain inside
  • the side windows must remain open
  • the panoramic sliding roof must remain open
For the United Kingdom only: your vehicle is equipped with the supplementary door lock. If the vehicle has been locked with the key, the doors cannot be opened from the inside. Deactivate the interior monitoring before locking the vehicle with the key. The doors can then be opened from the inside after you have locked the vehicle from the outside with the key. Observe the section “Important safety notes”.
