When you lock or unlock the vehicle with the key, the fuel filler flap is automatically locked or unlocked.

The position of the fuel filler cap is indicated on the instrument cluster by the symbol. The arrow located next to the
pump indicates the side of the vehicle.

Opening

• Switch off the engine.
• Remove the key from the ignition switch.
• Press the fuel filler flap (arrow 1).

The fuel filler flap opens.

• Turn the cap counterclockwise, then remove it.
• Place the cap on the holder inside the fuel filler flap.
• Insert the filler nozzle fully into the tank and refuel.
• Fill the fuel tank only until the fuel nozzle shuts off automatically.

After the fuel nozzle shuts off automatically for the first time, do not add any more fuel. Otherwise, fuel may overflow.

Closing

• Place the fuel filler cap on the tank, then turn it clockwise until it clicks audibly into place.
• Close the fuel filler flap.
