The safety of transported children was a particular concern of PEUGEOT already at the vehicle design stage; however, it depends to a large extent on you.

For this reason, the following recommendations must be strictly observed:

  • in accordance with European legislation, all children under 12 years of age or under 150 cm in height must be transported in approved child seats, suited to their weight, on seats equipped with seat belts or ISOFIX anchorages*,
  • statistically, the safest places in your vehicle for transporting children are the rear seats.
  • a child weighing less than 9 kg must always be transported in the "rear-facing" position, both in the front and in the rear.
PEUGEOT recommends transporting children on the rear seats of the vehicle:
  • "rear-facing" up to 2 years of age,
  • "forward-facing" over 2 years of age.
