The weights shown are those of a basic vehicle without options; they vary depending on your vehicle's equipment. Consult your brand representative.
| Maximum Authorised Laden Weight (MAM) Gross Combination Weight (MTR) |
Weights shown on the manufacturer's plate (refer to the "Identification plates" section in chapter 6) |
| Braked Trailer Weight | calculated as: GTW - MAM |
| Unbraked Trailer Weight | 650 |
| Maximum Tow Ball Load | 75 |
| Maximum roof load with roof rack | 80 kg (including roof rack system) |
Maximum towable weight (caravan, boat, etc.)
- It is important to comply with the towing conditions permitted by local legislation and, in particular, those set out in the Highway Code. For any towbar fitting, contact your brand representative.
- When towing, the gross train weight (vehicle + trailer) must never be exceeded. However, the following is tolerated:
- rear GAW exceeded by up to 15%,
- GVW exceeded by up to 10% or 100 kg (whichever limit is reached first).
In both cases, the maximum speed of the combination must not exceed 100 km/h and tyre pressure must be increased by 0.2 bar (3 PSI).
- As engine output and hill-climbing ability decrease with altitude, we recommend reducing the maximum load by 10% at 1,000 metres, then by a further 10% for each 1,000-metre step.
