SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS REMINDER

When removing heavy vehicle components, preferably use a four-post lift.
On a two-post lift, after removing this type of component (for example: powertrain, rear axle, fuel tank, etc.), there is a risk of the vehicle tipping.
When the vehicle is raised on a two-post pinch-weld lift, fit safety straps 77 11 172 554, available from the Parts Store.
FITTING THE STRAPS
Front strapping example

For safety reasons, straps must always be in perfect condition; replace them if damaged.
When fitting the straps, check that the protections (seats and fragile parts) are correctly positioned.
Pass the straps under the lift arms and run them across the vehicle and back.
Do not overtighten the straps.
