- Do not expose them to high temperatures for long periods of time.
- Do not get them wet or wash them in an ultrasonic cleaner, etc.
- Do not attach metal or magnetic components to the keys or place them near such materials.
- Do not disassemble the keys.

■ Carrying the electronic key (type C) Keep the electronic key at least 10 cm (3.9 in.) away from electrical devices that are switched on. Radio waves emitted by electrical devices within 10 cm (3.9 in.) of the key may interfere with it and prevent it from operating correctly.
■ If the smart entry & start system malfunctions or other key-related problems occur (type C) Take the vehicle to any Toyota dealer or repairer, or another suitably qualified and equipped professional, together with all electronic keys supplied with the vehicle.
■ If an electronic key is lost (type C) If an electronic key is lost, the risk of vehicle theft increases significantly. Go immediately to any Toyota dealer or repairer, or another suitably qualified and equipped professional, together with all other electronic keys supplied with the vehicle.
