Inspection procedure

1. 1
   Disconnect the negative (–) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
2. 2
   disconnect the connectors between the front seat airbag assy (rh) and the airbag sensor assy center.
3. 3
   release the airbag activation prevention mechanism of the connector (on the airbag sensor assy center side) between the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat airbag assy (rh) .
4. 4
   for the connector (on the front seat airbag assy side) between the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat airbag assy (rh), measure the resistance between sfr+ and sfr–.

   Ok: resistance: 1 mw or higher

1. 1
   Connect the the connector to the airbag sensor assy center.
2. 2
   connect the negative (–) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
3. 3
   turn the ignition switch to on, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
4. 4
   clear the dtc stored in memory .
5. 5
   turn the ignition switch to lock, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
6. 6
   turn the ignition switch to on, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
7. 7
   check the dtc .

   Ok: dtc b0110/43 is not output.

Sst 09843–18040

1. 1
   Turn the ignition switch to lock.
2. 2
   disconnect the negative (–) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
3. 3
   connect the front seat airbag assy (rh) connector.
4. 4
   connect the negative (–) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
5. 5
   turn the ignition switch to on, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
6. 6
   clear the dtc stored in memory .
7. 7
   turn the ignition switch to lock, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
8. 8
   turn the ignition switch to on, and wait at least for 20 seconds.
9. 9
   check the dtc .

   Ok: dtc b0110/43 is not output.
