WARNING

Always wear safety goggles and leather gloves.
Note

To cut out the front side window, use the wire reel -VAS 6452/1-.

Removing and installing front side window
  • Pull trim strip (if fitted) out of seal.

Protect surrounding parts against damage.

  • Place cutting cord -2- around front side window -1-.
  • Secure ends of cutting cord with pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1--3-.
  • Cut through adhesive bead with “sawing” motions -arrows- of pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1-.

Installing

  • Preparing old undamaged window for glazing → Chapter.
  • Preparing new window for glazing → Chapter.
  • Preparing body flange for glazing → Chapter.
  • Installation instructions → Chapter
  • Minimum curing period → Chapter
