Removing

  • Remove upper steering column trim → Chapter.
  • If necessary, remove ignition key.
Removing and installing lower steering column trim
  • Unscrew bolts -1- from lower steering column trim. To do this, turn steering wheel accordingly.
  • Remove lower steering column trim -2- from steering column.
  • On vehicles with keyless locking and starting system disconnect connector for immobiliser reader coil -D2-.

Installing

Note

Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
