GENERAL INFORMATION

As part of routine maintenance, adjustment of idle speed, ignition timing and CO content is not required, since these parameters are set by the control system according to requirements.

If actual values differ from the specified values, the cause lies in faulty components, which must be replaced. Qualified checking of the control system requires special diagnostic equipment.

CAUTION

Idle speed can be slightly changed by reprogramming the control unit with V.A.G tester.
