Using the remote control

Do not give your main vehicle keys to unknown persons.

If you need to leave the keys, for example with a hotel employee, give them the spare key.◄

Persons or animals remaining in the vehicle may lock the doors from inside. Therefore, always take the keys with you when leaving the vehicle.◄

Unlocking

Press the button

The interior light and the door area lighting switch on.

On some export versions, this button is pressed twice: the first press unlocks the driver's door, and only the second press unlocks all remaining locks.◄

Comfort opening

Press and hold the button.

The windows and sunroof open.

Locking

Press the button.

Do not lock the vehicle from outside if people remain inside, as they will not be able to unlock it from inside.◄

Comfort closing

Press and hold the button

The windows and sunroof close.

The outside mirrors fold automatically.

When closing, make sure no one is trapped. The closing process stops immediately when the button is released.◄

Switching on the interior lighting

With the vehicle locked, press the button.

This function helps you quickly locate your vehicle, for example in an underground car park.

Unlocking the luggage compartment lid

Press and hold the buttonpressed for approximately 1 second.

The luggage compartment lid opens slightly, regardless of whether it was locked or not.

When opening the luggage compartment lid, make sure there are no obstacles in its path.

If the luggage compartment lid was locked before, it locks again after it is closed.

Before and after driving, check that the luggage compartment lid has not been unlocked accidentally.◄

Interference

Radio waves may interfere with the operation of the remote control. In this case, you can unlock or lock the vehicle by inserting the mechanical key into the door lock.

If the locks do not respond to the remote control, the battery in the remote control is discharged. Recharge the remote control battery by inserting this electronic key into the ignition lock for a fairly long drive.
