Switching off the engine

Always take the vehicle keys with you when leaving the vehicle.

When parked, firmly apply the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling.◄

Sequence of Actions

1. After stopping, shift the transmission to position P.
2. Press the Start/Stop button.
3. Apply the parking brake.
4. Remove the electronic key from the ignition lock.

Before Entering a Car Wash

The vehicle can still be rolled if the following sequence is observed:

1. If the vehicle has Comfort Access: insert the electronic key into the ignition lock.
2. Depress the brake pedal.
3. Shift the transmission to position N.
4. Release the parking brake / Auto Hold.
5. Switch off the engine.

Position P is engaged:

► automatically after 30 minutes
► when the electronic key is removed from the ignition lock
