Auxiliary Heating

The system switches on when the outside air temperature is below 156 °F (or -10 °C?)...

With the ignition switched off, heated air is automatically directed to the windshield, side windows and footwell.

When the ignition is in the Radio position, you can adjust the air supply, air distribution and temperature.

After switching off, the system continues to run for some time.

Symbolthe climate control display goes out.

Do not operate the independent heater in enclosed spaces:

inhaling exhaust gases, which are harmful to health, can lead to loss of consciousness and even death. Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that has no color or odor.

Switch off the independent heater while refueling. If the vehicle is equipped with an independent heater, to prevent damage to it, the depth of water crossed must not exceed 25 cm, and the vehicle speed in water must not exceed walking pace.◄

The independent heater does not operate if the fuel in the tank is less than the amount required for 50 km of driving range.◄
