Automatic headlight control

When the switch is in position 1, the low beams switch on and off automatically depending on the ambient light (for example in tunnels, at dusk, or in rain or snowfall). When the low beams are on, the LED next to the symbol illuminates.

The engine can be switched off with the light switch in position 1: when the driver's door is opened with the ignition off, the exterior lighting switches off automatically.

If the fog lamps are switched on in addition to the automatically activated low beams, the low beams do not switch off automatically.◄

The automatic headlight control system cannot judge the light level better than you can. For example, the sensors cannot detect fog. In such situations, switch on the headlights manually, otherwise there is a risk to driving safety.◄
