Applying the Parking Brake on an Incline

When stopped on an incline, do not hold the vehicle in place by slipping the clutch. Use the parking brake for this purpose. Clutch slipping causes rapid clutch wear.◄
On vehicles with six-cylinder engines, use the hill start assist.
