It is prohibited to refuel the vehicle with rapeseed methyl ester (RME), biodiesel fuel or gasoline. If the vehicle is accidentally refueled with such fuel, do not start the engine

If the vehicle is accidentally filled with the wrong type of fuel, contact a BMW service center.
► Your BMW engine is designed for:
diesel fuel DIN EN 590.
Winter Diesel Fuel
For reliable operation of the diesel engine in cold weather, use winter diesel fuel, which is sold at filling stations at this time of year. The standard fuel filter heating prevents fuel from thickening while driving.
Do not add additives to the fuel or gasoline – risk of engine damage ◄
