1 Engine oil filler neck, see section "Adding engine oil"
2 Brake fluid reservoir, under the microfilter cover
3 Terminal for connecting an external power supply
4 545i, diesel engines: oil dipstick, see section "Checking engine oil level" (on the 545i the oil dipstick is located even closer to the passenger compartment)
5 Windshield and headlight washer fluid reservoir
6 Coolant expansion tank (on vehicles with diesel engines it is on the opposite side)
7 Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
