  • Do not park the vehicle on surfaces covered with flammable material. The high temperature of the exhaust system may cause ignition.
  • Always apply the parking brake without pressing the release button. When parking on a slope, apply the parking brake with maximum force. At the same time, press the brake pedal to reduce the load on the parking brake.
  • Switch off the engine and ignition. Turn the steering wheel until it locks.
  • If the vehicle is parked on level ground, or on a slope with its front facing uphill, select first gear or P before switching off the ignition. Also turn the front wheels away from the curb. If the vehicle is parked on a slope with its front facing downhill, select reverse before switching off the ignition. Turn the front wheels toward the curb.
  • Close the windows.
  • Lock the vehicle and activate the alarm.
