Starting the Engine with the Ignition Key

• Turn the key to position 1.

• Turn the steering wheel slightly to release the steering lock.

• Manual transmission:

depress the clutch;

• Depress the clutch pedal and move the selector to P or N;

• Do not press the accelerator pedal;

• Diesel engine: to preheat, turn the key to position 2 and wait until the indicator light goes off.

• Briefly turn the key to position 3 and release it when the engine starts.

Before restarting or to switch off the engine, return the key to position 0.
