General information on child seats

CITROËN is constantly concerned with the safety of your vehicle's occupants, but the safety of your children also depends on you.

To ensure optimum safety, please observe the following instructions:

- In accordance with European regulations, all children under 12 years old or under 1.50 m tall must be transported in approved child seats suited to their weight, in seating positions fitted with a seat belt or ISOFIX anchorages *,
- Statistically, the safest seating positions for transporting children are the rear seats of your vehicle,
- A child weighing less than 9 kg must always be transported in a rear-facing position, in both the front and rear seats.

CITROËN recommends transporting children in the rear seats of your vehicle:

- rear-facing up to 2 years old,
- forward-facing from 2 years old.
