Monitoring correctly

"Monitoring correctly" in the Citroën C6 means always keeping an overview of driving data, warning messages and safety functions. The instrument cluster shows speed, engine speed, fuel level, service intervals and much more in a clear display. Note:

• When the ignition is switched on, the amber and red warning lights illuminate.
• With the engine running, these indicator lights must go out again.

Driver seat belt fastened detection

If the driver has not fastened the seat belt, the seat belt indicator L illuminates immediately when the ignition is switched on.

Indicator L goes out once the seat belt is fastened.

Passenger airbag deactivation

When the ignition is switched on, indicator M AIRBAG illuminates if the passenger airbag is deactivated.

Hazard warning light operation

The hazard warning lights also work with the ignition switched off.

UNFASTENED SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT

The driver and front passenger seats as well as the rear seats are fitted with sensors to detect unfastened seat belts.

The fastened/unfastened status of the seat belts is shown for each seat by indicator lights 1, 2 and 3 illuminating or flashing.

Tyre pressure monitoring

This function warns you of low tyre pressure or a puncture.

Low tyre pressure warning: the SERVICE indicator light illuminates and the vehicle outline is displayed.

Puncture: The "STOP" and tyre flat indicator lights illuminate and the vehicle outline is displayed.
