Occupant safety has the highest priority in the Citroën C6 (1st generation, 2005–2012). Passenger airbag deactivation

If a rearward-facing child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the passenger airbag must be deactivated.

To do so:

• With the ignition switched off, insert the key into lock position A.
• Turn the key to position "OFF"; the passenger airbag is deactivated.

The passenger airbag deactivation indicator on the instrument cluster illuminates when the ignition is switched on.

Child lock

It disables the rear window switches and the opening of the rear doors from the inside. The electric child lock is activated by pressing control B.

A message appears to confirm that the child lock is activated.

ISOFIX anchorage system

The ISOFIX system is fitted to each outer rear seat with 3 anchorage points:

• Two rings C and D between the backrest and the seat cushion of the vehicle seat.

These are approx. 28 cm apart and on the rear bench are covered by a flap bearing the ISOFIX logo.
