The windscreen wipers operate automatically, without driver intervention, when rain is detected (sensor behind the interior rear-view mirror), adjusting their speed to the intensity of the rainfall.

Activation

Performed manually by the driver, by a short push of switch A towards "AUTO".

This is accompanied by the illumination of the
warning lamp in the instrument cluster and a message on the multifunction display.

Deactivation

Performed manually by the driver, by moving switch A upwards and setting it to "0".

This is accompanied by the extinguishing of the
warning lamp in the instrument cluster and a message on the multifunction display.

After each switching off of the ignition, re-activate the automatic wiper mode by gently pressing switch A downwards.

Operating fault

In the event of a fault in the automatic windscreen wiper operation, the wipers operate in intermittent mode.

Have the system checked at a CITROËN network dealership or at a specialist workshop.

Do not cover the rain sensor, combined with the light sensor, located in the centre of the windscreen behind the interior rear-view mirror. In an automatic car wash, switch off automatic wiper operation.
In winter, before switching on automatic windscreen wiper mode, wait until the windscreen is completely defrosted.
