The Voice Recognition (VR) button is used to turn the voice recognition system on and off.

Helpful tips for using Voice Recognition:

  • Reduce background noise. Conversation with passengers and wind noise are examples of noise that can affect recognition.
  • Speak clearly at a normal pace and volume while looking straight ahead.
  • Each time you give a voice command, you must first press the Voice Recognition (VR) button, wait for the beep, then say the voice command.
  • You can interrupt a help message or system prompts by pressing the VR button and saying a voice command from the current category.
