Your vehicle is equipped with 12 V (15 A) power outlets that can be used to power cell phones, small electronics, and other low-power electrical accessories. Power outlets are labeled with a "key" or "battery" symbol to indicate how the outlet is powered. Outlets labeled "key" are energized when the ignition is in the ON or ACC position, and outlets labeled "battery" are connected directly to the battery and are always powered.

NOTE:

All accessories connected to "battery" powered outlets must be removed or turned off when the vehicle is not in use to protect the battery from discharging.

The front power outlet is located inside the storage compartment on the center console, below the instrument panel.

In addition to the front power outlet, there is also a power outlet located in the storage area on the center console.

If the Media Hub is used, do not exceed the maximum power of 100 W (8 amps) for the center console power outlet. When the Media Hub is not used, the outlet can supply up to 160 W (13 amps). If the rated power is exceeded, the fuse must be replaced to protect the system.

NOTE:

The instrument panel power outlet and the two rear console USB ports can be changed to "battery" (constant power) by moving fuse No. 12 (20 amp) from "IGN" to "B+".

  • Only insert devices designed for use in this type of 12-volt outlet.
  • Do not touch with wet hands.
  • Keep the cover closed when not in use and while driving the vehicle.
  • Improper handling of this outlet may result in electric shock and damage.
  • Many accessories that can be connected draw power from the vehicle battery even when not in use (for example, mobile phones, etc.). If connected long enough, the vehicle battery will be discharged to the point where battery life is reduced and/or the engine cannot be started.
  • Accessories that draw higher power (for example, coolers, vacuum cleaners, lamps, etc.) discharge the battery even faster. Use them only occasionally and with greater caution.
  • After using high-power accessories or running the vehicle for a long time without the engine running (with accessories connected), drive the vehicle long enough for the alternator to recharge the vehicle battery.
  • Power outlets are intended for use with approved plug-in accessories only. Do not hang any accessories or accessory brackets from the plug. Improper use of the power outlet may cause damage.
