Knowing the instrument panel

Trip computer

~2min read

The "Trip computer" displays, with the ignition key in the RUN position, the values relating to the operating status of the vehicle. This function consists of two separate trips called "Trip A" and "Trip B", which can monitor the vehicle's "complete mission" (journey) independently of each other.

"Trip A" displays the following values: "Outside temperature (for versions/markets where provided)", "Range", "Distance travelled", "Average fuel consumption", "Instant fuel consumption", "Average speed", "Travel time (driving time)".

"Trip B" displays the following values: "Distance travelled B", "Average fuel consumption B", "Average speed B", "Travel time B (driving time)". "Trip B" is a function that can be excluded.

Both functions can be reset (reset - start of a new mission).

To reset, press and hold the TRIP button, located on the right-hand lever of the steering wheel.

NOTE The "Range" and "Instant fuel consumption" values cannot be reset.

WARNING 24) Insufficient engine oil level, resulting from failure to top up, may inhibit the vehicle's normal functions up to the point of stopping it

General information

NOTE The warning light is associated with a specific message and/or audible signal where the instrument panel allows. These warnings are concise and precautionary and must not be considered exhaustive and/or an alternative to what is specified in this Owner's and Maintenance Handbook, which should always be read carefully. In the event of a fault warning, always refer to what is described in this chapter.

NOTE Fault warnings that appear on the display are divided into two categories: serious faults and less serious faults. Serious faults display a "cycle" of warnings repeated for a prolonged time. Less serious faults display a "cycle" of warnings for a shorter time. You can interrupt the display cycle for both categories by pressing the button. The warning light on the instrument panel stays on until the cause of the malfunction is eliminated.
