Description and Operation — Acceleration Control — Overview

~1min read

The acceleration controls consist of the accelerator pedal, the APP sensor and the bracket assembly.

The engine control system electronically controls the engine throttle in response to accelerator pedal movements initiated by the driver. In the event of a system failure, the engine control system provides a "Limp Home" mode, which allows the vehicle to be driven with limited performance.
