Introduction

Normal Operation and Fault Symptoms

Refer to DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Trouble Code Description Fault Trigger Condition
PCM P060D:00 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Internal Module Performance: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects a problem identifying a concern with the APP sensor signal or with the processing of the brake pedal sensor input. This trouble code is set when an error occurs in the PCM. Make sure the PCM is at the latest calibration level.
PCM P1575:00 Pedal Position Out of Self Test Range: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the APP1 or APP2 input is greater than the expected value. The PCM monitors the APP sensor inputs to determine if the APP1 and APP2 signals are less than the expected value during the KOEO Self-Test. Make sure the floor mat is not interfering with the accelerator pedal. Repeat the self-test without depressing the accelerator pedal. Diagnose any APP sensor circuit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first.
PCM P2122:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D" Circuit Low Signal: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the accelerator pedal position 1 (APP1) is below the lower self-test range.
PCM P2123:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D" Circuit High Signal: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the accelerator pedal position 1 (APP1) is outside the self-test range.
PCM P2127:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "E" Circuit Low Voltage: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (APP2) is outside the lower limit of the self-test range.
PCM P2128:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "E" Circuit High Signal: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (APP2) is above the upper limit of the self-test range.
PCM P2138:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D"/"E" Voltage Correlation: no sub-type information Set when the PCM detects that the APP sensor inputs APP1 and APP2 do not agree. The accelerator pedal position is greater than expected. The PCM compares the APP sensor information from APP1 and APP2 signals.
