Inspection

  1. Before installing a new seat belt, inspect the seat belt attachment points for damage and distortion. If the attachment points are damaged or deformed, return the sheet metal to its original shape and structural integrity.
  2. Install new seat belts at any location(s) where the pretensioner(s) deployed and the seat belt(s) was/were buckled. Perform the appropriate functional test procedure for all seating positions.
