Removal

  1. Remove the front seat.
    Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

  2. Remove the front seat belt buckle.
    1. Disconnect the wiring harness clips.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 26 lb-ft (35 N·m)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Check the seat belt system for proper operation.
    REFER TO: Seat Belt System Functional Tests (501-20A Seat Belt Systems, General Procedures).
