Removal and Installation - Cabin Heater Coolant Heater

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the RH fender splash shield.
   Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

   1. Remove the retainer and the ground wire.
      Torque: 106 lb-in (12 N·m)

   2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

   3. Disconnect the wiring harness guide clips and set them aside.

   • Disconnect the electrical connector.

   • Disconnect the wiring harness guide clips and set them aside.

   Disconnect the coolant hoses.

   Remove the retainers and set the valve assembly aside.
   Torque: 106 lb-in (12 N·m)

   • Disconnect the wiring harness guide clips and set them aside.

   • Remove the retainers and the cabin heater coolant heater.
     Torque: 26 lb-ft (35 N·m)

   

Installation

1. 1
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to the appropriate procedure in Group 303.
