Hydraulic Press

Removal

  1. Remove the wheel bearing and hub.
    Refer to: Wheel Bearing and Hub - FWD (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).
    Refer to: Wheel Bearing and Hub - AWD (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).
  2. Press the wheel stud out of the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange.
    Use common equipment: hydraulic press
  3. Visual Inspection.
    Inspect the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange for corrosion or damage. Replace as necessary.

Installation

  1. Press the wheel stud into the wheel bearing and the wheel hub flange until seated.
    Use common equipment: hydraulic press
  2. Install the wheel bearing and hub.
