NOTE
When re-bonding the leather to the front face only, the steering wheel does not need to be removed. Removal of the steering wheel is only necessary when repairing loose leather on the back of the steering wheel.
If necessary, remove the steering wheel.

Position the loose leather aside.

NOTE
Avoid sanding the groove area, if applicable.
Sand the steering wheel structure to prepare it for bonding.

NOTE
Avoid applying adhesive in the groove area, if applicable.
Evenly apply the specified adhesive to the steering wheel bonding surface.
Material: Motorcraft® Instant Gel Adhesive / TA-19-C (WSS-M2G401-B5)

Reposition the loose leather.

NOTE
The adhesive must fully cure within 5 minutes. Do not pull on the repair area.
Smooth the leather and trim for a neat appearance.

Apply pressure (for at least 30 seconds) until the leather bonds to the steering wheel.

If removed, install the steering wheel.
