Removal

  1. Refer to Brake and Clutch Systems Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
  2. Remove the wheels and tires.
    Refer to: Wheels and Tires (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

Refer to: Brake Caliper - Disconnect from Steering Knuckle (206-03 Front Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the brake rotor.
  2. Clean the mating surfaces of the brake rotor and wheel hub.
    Material: Motorcraft® Metal Brake Parts Cleaner / PM-4-A, PM-4-B, APM-4-C

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
