Removal

  1. Position the vehicle in NEUTRAL on the lift.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
  2. Remove the screw and pin retainer.
  3. Remove the screws and the front stone deflector extension.
  4. Remove the fender splash shield.
    Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  5. Remove the front bumper cover bracket bolts.
    Torque: 71 lb-in (8 N·m)
  6. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.
  7. Remove the lower front bumper trim panel screws from the body.
  8. Remove the front bumper trim panels and the cover.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
