Initialization

  1. Turn the ignition key to the RUN position. To initialize an existing sunroof motor, go to step 6.
  2. For a new sunroof motor , press and hold the front of the control switch until the sunroof glass moves slightly past the full vent position (approximately 2 mm (0.0787 in)) and stops.
  3. Quickly (within 0.5 second) release, then press and hold the front of the control switch while the sunroof glass moves to the fully open position, and then back to the fully closed position.
  4. Release the switch and verify successful initialization by performing one-touch open and close operations.
  5. For an existing sunroof motor , press and hold the front of the control switch until the sunroof glass moves to the full vent position, then release the switch.
  6. Press and hold the front of the control switch for approximately 10 seconds until the sunroof glass moves slightly past the full vent position (approximately 2 mm (0.0787 in)) and stops.
  7. Quickly (within 0.5 second) release, then press and hold the front of the control switch while the sunroof glass moves to the fully open position, and then back to the fully closed position.
  8. Release the switch and verify successful initialization by performing one-touch open and close operations.
