Brake Disc - Removal and Installation

Removal

   Remove the wheel and tire.
   Refer to: Wheels and Tires (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

   NOTICE: Do not allow the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly to hang from the brake hose, as the hose may be damaged.

   Remove the bolts and set the brake caliper and adapter aside. Discard the bolts.
   Torque: 122 lb-ft (165 N·m)

   Remove the brake rotor.

   

Installation

1. 1

   NOTICE: Make sure the brake hose is not twisted when installing the brake caliper or damage to the flexible brake hose may occur.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Depress the brake pedal several times to verify proper brake system operation.
