Removal

NOTICE: If brake fluid contacts painted surfaces, immediately flush the affected area with cold water.

1. 1
   Remove the brake master cylinder.
   Refer to: Brake Master Cylinder (206-06 Hydraulic Brake Actuation, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the pin and the brake fluid reservoir.
   Torque: 49 lb-in (5.5 N·m)

   

3. 3
   Remove and discard the brake fluid reservoir seals.
   Material: Motorcraft® DOT 4 LV High Performance Automotive Brake Fluid / PM-20 (WSS-M6C65-A2)

   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
