Removal

  1. Position the vehicle in NEUTRAL on the lift.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
    • Remove and discard the nuts.
      Torque: 35 lb-ft (48 N·m)
    • Set the muffler and tailpipe aside.

  3. Remove and discard the gasket.

  4. Disconnect the exhaust isolators and remove the muffler and tailpipe assembly.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
