The following is a list of all possible DIC information pages. Some may not be available for your specific vehicle. Some items may not be turned on by default, but can be turned on through the settings menu. See "Information Page Settings" earlier in this section.

Speed: Shows the vehicle speed in either kilometers per hour (km/h) or miles per hour (mph).

Trip A or Trip B: Shows the current distance traveled in either kilometers (km) or miles (mi) since the trip odometer was last reset.

It also shows the approximate average fuel economy in liters per 100 kilometers (L/100 km) or miles per gallon (mpg). This number is calculated based on the L/100 km (mpg) recorded since this menu item was last reset. This number reflects only the approximate average fuel economy the vehicle has right now and will change depending on driving conditions.

Fuel Range or Fuel Life: Shows the approximate distance the vehicle can be driven without refueling. LOW will be displayed when the vehicle is low on fuel. The fuel range estimate is based on the vehicle's average fuel economy compared to recent driving history and the amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank.

Oil Life: Shows an estimate of the remaining oil life. If OIL LIFE REMAINING 99% is displayed, it means that 99% of the current oil life remains.

When the remaining oil life is low, the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will appear on the display. The oil should be changed as soon as possible. See Engine Oil 0 294. In addition to the engine oil life system, additional maintenance is recommended. See Maintenance Schedule.

The oil life display must be reset after each oil change. It will not reset itself. Do not reset the oil life display at any time other than when the oil has just been changed. It cannot be reset accurately until the next oil change is due. To reset the engine oil life system, pressGMC Terrain. See Engine Oil Life System.

Fuel Filter Life Remaining (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, shows an estimate of the remaining fuel filter life. If 90% fuel filter life remaining is displayed, it means that 90% of the current fuel filter life remains. The fuel filter life system will alert you when the fuel filter needs to be changed based on your driving conditions.

When the remaining fuel filter life is low, the REPLACE FUEL FILTER message will appear on the display. Replace the fuel filter as soon as possible.

The fuel filter life display must be reset after each fuel filter replacement. It will not reset itself. Do not reset the fuel filter life display at any time other than when the fuel filter has just been replaced. PressGMC Terrain. If the pressure is low, the value for that tire is shown in amber. See Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Tire Pressure Monitoring System Operation.

Average Speed: Displays the average vehicle speed in kilometers per hour (km/h) or miles per hour (mph). This average is based on the various vehicle speeds recorded since the last reset. Press and holdGMC Terrain. Info Pageswhile this display is active to reset Average Speed. Average Speed can also be reset by pressingGMC Terrain. Info Pagesand selecting reset.

Fuel Economy: The DIC displays the approximate instant fuel economy as a number and a bar graph. Above the bar graph, the average fuel economy for the selected trip distance is displayed. Below the bar graph, the best average fuel economy achieved over the selected distance is displayed. The selected distance is shown at the top of the page as "Last xxx mi/km."

The display shows how your current driving style affects the rolling average and how well your recent driving compares to the best achieved over the selected distance.

Economy Trend: Shows a history of the average fuel economy for the last 50 km (30 miles). Each bar represents about 5 km (3 miles) of driving. While driving, the bars will shift to always show the most recent distance on the right side. Press and holdGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto clear the graph, or pressGMC Terrain. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Level (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, the DEF level will be displayed as OK, XX%, or LOW. When LOW appears on the display, add DEF as soon as possible. See Diesel Exhaust Fluid.

Oil Pressure: Oil pressure is displayed in kilopascals (kPa) or pounds per square inch (psi). Oil pressure may vary depending on engine speed, outside temperature, and oil viscosity. In some models, the oil pump will change engine oil pressure to meet engine needs. Oil pressure may change quickly as engine speed or load changes. This is normal. If the oil pressure warning light or the Driver Information Center (DIC) message indicates low oil pressure, check the oil as soon as possible.
