Trip 1 or Trip 2: Shows the current distance traveled in either kilometers (km) or miles (mi) since the trip odometer was last reset.

If equipped, shows the average fuel economy since the last reset. This number reflects only the approximate average fuel economy the vehicle has right now, and will change as driving conditions change. Average fuel economy may be displayed as miles per gallon, km/L, or L/100 km, where applicable.

If equipped, shows the average speed since the last reset. This number reflects only the approximate average speed the vehicle has, and will change as driving conditions change. Average speed may be displayed in miles per hour or km/h, where applicable.

Fuel Information or Fuel Range: Shows the approximate distance the vehicle can be driven without refueling. LOW will be displayed when the vehicle is low on fuel. The fuel range estimate is based on the vehicle's average fuel economy compared to recent driving history and the amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. If equipped, it may also show the instant fuel economy.

Oil Life: Shows an estimate of the remaining oil life. If OIL LIFE REMAINING 99% is displayed, it means that 99% of the current oil life remains.

When the remaining oil life is low, the message CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON will appear on the display. Engine oil should be changed as soon as possible. See Engine Oil. In addition to the engine oil life system, additional maintenance is recommended in the Maintenance Schedule. See Maintenance Schedule.

The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. It will not reset itself. Do not reset the Oil Life display at any time other than when the oil has just been changed. It cannot be reset accurately until the next oil change. To reset the engine oil life system, press and hold V while this display is active to show the confirmation window. UseGMC Terrain. Info PagesorGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto select Yes or No and pressGMC Terrain. Info Pages. See Engine Oil Life System.

Fuel Filter Life Remaining (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, shows an estimate of the remaining fuel filter life. If 90% fuel filter life remaining is displayed, it means that 90% of the current fuel filter life remains. The fuel filter life system will alert you when the fuel filter needs to be changed based on your driving conditions.

When the remaining fuel filter life is low, the REPLACE FUEL FILTER message will appear on the display. Replace the fuel filter as soon as possible.

The Fuel Filter Life display must be reset after each fuel filter replacement. It will not reset itself. Do not reset the Fuel Filter Life display at any time other than when the fuel filter has just been replaced. To reset the Fuel Filter Life system, pressGMC Terrain. Tire Pressure: Displays the approximate pressure of all four tires. Tire pressure is displayed in either kilopascals (kPa) or pounds per square inch (psi). If the pressure is low, the value for that tire is shown in amber.

See Tire Pressure Monitor System and Tire Pressure Monitor System Operation.

Average Speed: Displays the average speed of the vehicle in kilometers per hour (km/h) or miles per hour (mph). This average is based on the various vehicle speeds recorded since the last reset. To reset the average speed, pressGMC Terrain. Info Pageswhile this display is active to show a confirmation window to select Yes or No, and pressGMC Terrain. Info Pages .

Fuel Economy: The center displays the approximate instant fuel economy as a number and a bar graph. Displayed above the bar graph is the average fuel economy for the last trip or selected distance. Below the bar graph is the best fuel economy achieved for the selected distance. The selected distance is shown at the top of the page as "last xxx mi/km". Press VGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto select a distance or reset the best value. UseGMC Terrain. Info PagesandGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto select the distance and press V. PressGMC Terrain. Info PagesandGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto select "Reset Best Result." PressGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto reset the best average fuel economy. After reset, the best value is displayed as "-.-" until the selected distance has been traveled.

The display shows how your current driving style affects the rolling average and how well your recent driving compares to the best achieved over the selected distance.

Following Distance/Gap Settings: If equipped, the current following time to the vehicle ahead is displayed as a time value on this page. When Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is enabled, the display switches to the gap setting page. This page shows the current gap setting along with the indicator for the vehicle ahead.

Driver Assistance: If equipped, displays information for Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Forward Collision Warning (FCA).

Economy Trend: Shows the history of average fuel economy for the last 50 km (30 miles). Each bar represents approximately 5 km (3 miles) of driving. While driving, the bars will shift to always show the most recent distance on the right side. PressGMC Terrain. Info Pagesto open the menu while this display is active to clear the graph. Battery Voltage: Displays the current battery voltage, if equipped. Changes in battery voltage are normal while driving. See Charging System Light. If there is a problem with the battery charging system, the DIC will display a message.

Oil Pressure: Oil pressure is displayed in kilopascals (kPa) or pounds per square inch (psi). Oil pressure may vary depending on engine speed, outside temperature, and oil viscosity. In some models, the oil pump will change the engine oil pressure according to engine demand. Oil pressure may change quickly when engine speed or load changes. This is normal. If the oil pressure warning light or DIC message indicates that oil pressure is outside the normal operating range, check the oil as soon as possible.

Coolant Temperature: Displays the coolant temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or degrees Fahrenheit (°F).

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Level Percent (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, the DEF level will be displayed as OK, XX%, or LOW. When LOW is displayed, add DEF as soon as possible. See Diesel Exhaust Fluid.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Gauge (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, the DEF level is displayed as a horizontal gauge with E or 0 and F or 1 at each end. If more of the bar is filled in green, the vehicle has a higher DEF level. When the estimated level is low, the indicator will light up red and the LOW bar will be displayed above it. When a fault occurs, the display will be blank and "unavailable" will appear. When LOW is displayed, add DEF as soon as possible. See Diesel Exhaust Fluid.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Range (Diesel Engine Only): If equipped, this page shows how far the vehicle can travel before DEF must be replaced. The range is displayed in miles or km. When the estimated range is low, LOW will be displayed. If a fault occurs, "−−" is displayed. When the DEF range is high, a greater-than sign is displayed before the range value.
