Tire Pressure Check

1. After driving approximately 4-6 miles (7-10 km, or about 10 minutes), stop in a safe place.
2. Connect the compressor hose (9) directly to the tire valve.
3. Insert the compressor power cord into the vehicle power outlet.
4. Adjust the tire pressure to the recommended value. With the ignition on, proceed as follows.
- To increase tire pressure:
Turn on the compressor. To check the current inflation pressure setting, briefly turn off the compressor.
- To decrease tire pressure:
Loosen the screw-on cap (8) on the compressor hose.
Information
The gauge may show a reading higher than the actual pressure while the compressor is running. To obtain an accurate tire pressure, the compressor must be turned off.
CAUTION
When using a Tire Mobility Kit containing sealant not approved by HYUNDAI, the tire pressure sensors may be damaged by the sealant. Sealant on the tire pressure sensor and wheel should be removed when replacing the tire with a new one, and the tire pressure sensors should be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
When reinstalling repaired or replaced tires and wheels on the vehicle, tighten the wheel nut to 79-94 lbf·ft (11-13 kgf·m).
