Front Bumper Cover Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or removal tool, wrap the tools with protective tape to prevent damage to components. Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts without damaging the surface. Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

   Remove the upper front bumper mounting bolts.

   Loosen the lower front bumper mounting clips.

   After loosening the pin clips and screws on the side of the front bumper (A), remove the front bumper side portion.

   When pulling out the front bumper, the side of the front bumper may be damaged by the protrusion.

   Disconnect the front bumper connector (A). [Left]

   Remove the front bumper cover (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected. Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
