Replacement

  1. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
  2. Remove the front oil seal (A).
  3. Apply engine oil to the lip of the new oil seal.
    • Remove foreign material from the lip of the oil seal.
  4. Using the SST (09231-2E000), install the front oil seal (A).
    • Do not reuse the front oil seal.
  5. Install the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
