WARNING
Observe the following precautions when using Cruise Control:
- Always set the vehicle speed to the speed limit in your area.
- Keep Cruise Control turned off when the system is not in use to avoid accidentally setting the speed. Check that the Cruise (
) indicator off. - Cruise control does not replace proper and safe driving. It is always the driver's responsibility to drive safely and always be aware of unexpected and sudden situations that may occur.
- Always drive carefully to prevent unexpected and sudden situations from occurring. Pay attention to road conditions at all times.
- Do not use cruise control when it may be unsafe to maintain a constant speed:
-- When driving in heavy traffic or when road conditions make it difficult to drive at a constant speed
-- When driving on wet, icy, or snow-covered roads
-- When driving on hilly or winding roads
-- When driving in windy areas
-- When driving with limited visibility (possibly due to bad weather such as fog, snow, rain, or sandstorms)
