~1min read

Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control can help automatically adjust vehicle speed when driving on highways (or motorways) using road information from the navigation system while Smart Cruise Control is operating.

Information

  • Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control is only available on some controlled-access roads of highways.
    * A controlled-access road is a road with limited entrances and exits that allows for the continuous flow of high-speed traffic. Only passenger cars and motorcycles are allowed on controlled-access roads.
  • Additional highways may be added through future navigation updates.

Information

Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control operates on main highway roads (or motorways) and does not operate at intersections or interchanges.

Highway Curve Speed Reduction

If the vehicle speed is high, the Highway Curve Speed Reduction function may temporarily reduce the vehicle speed or limit acceleration to help you drive safely through a curve based on curve information from the navigation system.

Highway Automatic Set Speed Adjustment

The Highway Automatic Set Speed Adjustment function automatically changes the Smart Cruise Control set speed based on speed limit information from the navigation system.
